I just wanted to give some quick updates about all that is happening in Grade Four!We have been working very hard on our TLCP Unit on Legends/Inferencing. Students have had the opportunity to look at many different legends and to also practice their inferencing skills. We have also been focused on studying the comic text form. In the coming weeks, students will be putting their knowledge of all of these skills together for their final assignment.
Multiplication has been the focus for Number Sense and Numeration. Students have been learning about single digit multiplication along with two by one digit. By having the students practice their multiplication skills not only in the classroom but at home, students will further strengthen their understanding and familiarity of the concepts.
Social Studies has been a blast! It has been great to learn about medieval times and the many events that occurred in the past. Students have been amazed with how people used to live and some of the important characters along the way. Participation has been through the roof in this unit as students are quite interested in medieval times!
